Phil has completed the first version of the “days to assessment due date” view. This view will show visually how many days to the assessment due dates coming. The view will go from 0 days to 50 days, as this was believed to be sufficient. Any assessment due in more than 50 days will have the correct number of days but the bars will go to 50 (max value).
The view can be seen below:
Here is a screen shot of the page where student record their module assessment mark and can also enter their assessment due date.
Phil added ‘enter due date’ to MiGrade individual elements with option to save to device calendar. We have chosen 10am as the default due time to be inline with the University hand in time regulation.
Phil improved MiGrade with local saving and reading of course XML file.
Phil produced an XML file for course choice to try to allow users to pick their course and save personal course details locally.
Phil produced magnifier for MiGrade summary page and the marks are displayed on double tap:
Mark produced content for the XML file for one course in Life Sciences. I produced XML file and MiGrade was tested with LS course successfully. Mark gave feedback: be aware of people perception of colours.
Project meeting with AGC, MC, PT. All agreed to get students to enter CW deadlines on the app.
Phil improved MiGrade (better mark entering through addition of +/- buttons)
Phil completed 1st version of MiGrade summary page. Looks really good.
I have been looking for a way for any course leader (with no technical background) to produce the required XML file for MiGrade. I have come across Tutlebite online XML editor which worked fine and meets our needs.
Phil and I made improvements to MiGrade UI and discussed summary page.
Phil has now completed 1st version of MiGrade, which parses XML file and produces the User Interface. Works really well. Will soon try with a course in Life Sciences.
